is it true that the wordl will end on December 2012? cuz alot of poeple are saying that and i want your oppinion

the Aztec calender predicts this... they had great astronomical accuracies but who knows? don't worry about though.

Many other ones like the 6/6/06 have been predicted but those were like Y2K... bored people having nothing else to ponder about... not to make you worried.

Highly doubtful...it is only the end of the Aztec calendar. Also, many say that the Apocalypse is the "end of days". But really, it is mistranslated. It means the end of this era. We currently live in the era of Pisces. With is the zodiac sign of the fish. Recall the two fish representing Christianity? The time before this one was that of the Ram. Which is why the Jews use the ram horn. That was there time. Also, in the bible: Jesus says that at the end of his time, there will be a man holding a pitcher of water. That man is Aquarius. The next era. So to answer your question: NO. The world will end by a nuclear war or the sun exploding. But i have my bet on the war.

scientists have proved that one 12/21/12 the solar system will all be aligned a certain way.

Supposedly this will have some sort of magnetic energy causing the Earth (and all the other planets) to shift.

This shift will supposedly cause earthquakes and giant tsunamis. In other words, tons of natural disaters that will supposedly kill most of the humans on Earth.

The ones that survive will be out of food and water, and disease will spread rapidly.

But then again, most women aren't even able to predict there own period. Sure, you count 28 days, but almost never comes on time. So who the heck is able to predict the end of the freakin world?? i dont think this is humaly possible.

Some people believe that because Nostradamus predicted it. I don't believe it because the bible says not even the angels in heaven know.  Nostradamus was profit, When we piece it together, yes he's predicted many of the world disasters, But I doubt we know for sure he's predicted the world ending around the 18 hundreds, If that's correct.

Honestly, I don't think so. I will tell you why and you will think its ridiculous and say wow i was dumb to believe that.

The Mayans also said that when that say comes two warriors, as in two people from earth that we choose, are going to go inside this snakes mouth that comes out of the ground and they are going to challenge the devil to that game where you bounce the wall off of the wall through a hole.

The world ending Dec 2012 comes from the Mayan calender. It was made more than 2000 years ago. That's were all the hype is coming from. Look up Mayan calender on the internet.

10 years ago the world was going to end in the year 2000. In the year 999 there were mass suicides because they thought the world would end in 1000.

I've been searching for the Earth's expiration date, but still haven't found it.

The MAYA seem to think so (not the Aztecs). But maybe they just ran out of room on their calendar. It's just a big, round rock, you know.

I would say no. Because people in the 1900 predicted that the world would end in 1950. But obviously that wasn't true. The psychos' on the streets are the ones making weird stuff up to scare everyone. Don't listen...

And I also try not to think about the world ending...Because it does kinda freak me out...

If the world actually ends that day bless us all because i will never be able to get my tattoo or my piercing or the phone i fancy i wont be able to do anything i wanted if that is my end.

though i believe its a start of something new,everything is going to balance once again from once Adam and Eva were.

so  don't be scared there is no reason to be scared; i thought about this subject last night and i don't that i we all should be scared all i want to do on that last moment is give everything i have to my loved one which i hope to have by that time.

Ok its not the End of Days. We are here for a while yet and have a long time yet before we all die in about 80 years if we keep carrying on the way we are with the abusing the Earth.

"They" said the planets would aline on may 5 like ten years ago and that was supposed to pull everything into the sun. Well I don't think that will happen in 2012. not sure but that sounds reasonable to me though. I would have bet on 2018 but I may not have aloud for leap years and if that is true then more likely 2023 or around that time. It is hard to pick quite the right time frame without the old calander since we have changed it since the ancients wrote it. so on the safe side 2012 to 2038 would be a good spread to rely on.  Again these could be off a little a few years either way the bright side I suppose is were are almost at 2012 now sooooooooooo... ? I do know that a fairly large asteriod will pass close to earth very soon so who knows if it could hit or not and then there is the other big event which could put us at odds with one another as the population pushes past the 8 billion mark. supply and demand  along with stresses on the planet may be the tipping point for sanity as we know it on earth. both religion and polotics play a big part in the influence we adapt to. it then becomes up to the people everywhere to decide what course of tollerence we live with. aside from all this there is natural disaters and pandemics to cope with as well. so it could well be the End of Days as noted in biblical texts,. We can only control what we are capable of the rest becomes as they say an act of God. I prefer fate the later just gives credence to too many fanatical beliefs. In other words you will die one day no matter what so........ whats to worry go party lol have a great day.

ps: if you are younger and reading this don't fret because getting older sucks as much as being young / you would eventually get bored and most likely to death.lol want proof just read history for days and weks on end then you will understand not that growing up is bad just being stuck on earth for over a 100 years would suck unless science improves our heath situation and could remake us after a terrible accident since living tied to a bed that long is not life only existence. whew there thats enough garbage for now lolololol

No one can know for sure. The Mayan calendar does end in 2012 with a hinting at a major disaster, but it doesn't actually say "End of World." Also there are some that say the Bible code references a major disaster in 2012 also. Possibly an asteroid or something along those lines. Even if something does happen, it doesn't mean that the world will end then.

Don't live in fear of the future, because that is not truly living.

I do not believe end of the prophecies. There have been thousands and none of come true, but ...

The Mayan Calender ends in December 2012.

The TimeWave Zero goes flat at this time.

The Webbot Project also indicates a major disaster at this time.

A big asteroid is going to pass the earth at this time.

I just remembered.  Our solar system will be crossing the galactic equator at that time.  Predictions of magnetic pole reversal and calamities have been made.

One last thought.  If the Bible says the end of the earth will come when we do not expect it, and christians do not expect the end to come in 2012 because it has been predicted, then this is a time when the Christians least expect the world to end, and would be quite surprised if it did.

Besides it is better to live your life as if the world is going to end tommorow.  i.e. Know God loves you and Jesus died for your sins.

It is impossible to tell the Aztec calender ends at 2012, but nowhere in the myths does it actually say that the world will end on December 2012.

What I believe is that they saw their own destruction and believed that they would fall before then so why would they finish it.

Another idea is that they were really cocky and thought their empire would last till December 2012
