Is it true that if bunnies get wet that they loose their fur? I have a bunny and i keep it away from getting wet! (i am aware they can go in shock)

  1. Not exactly no. Bunnies lose fur very easily, I spose it's fair to say it does come out easier if it's soaking wet. But it doesn't just all fall out if they get wet, no.

    You're right to keep the bunny from getting wet of course - small animals lose heat very quickly when wet, they get hypothermic easily.

  2. I had rabbits when I was younger. The mini rex got chased by a neighbor's dog and jumped into the pond to get away. Turns out they can swim a kind of frantic doggy paddle. We quickly got her out and dried her off, and she was fine. No fur loss at all.

  6. well  if they get wet like if you give em a bath, there fur will not be as soft and might get clumpy
