Magic is based upon behavior (being the response of internal/external stimuli) .  In regards to the self, environment, and  other chemical factors, such as hormones.  But every1 has their own idea of things.

Yes, in fact, I would say that is more likely the case than some mystical energy that obeys our every whim and command.
