I work at Walmart and we sell these like CRAZY! They are very trusting..I just dont like the maintenance fees or whatever there called.

Yeah it is pretty good because they have a limit on the card.  It is like a debit card once they used that cash that card can't be used again until it is reloaded with more money.  It is also good because if the kid looses it is better to get the money back than with cash.  So you reload a set amount on the card and then it can be used like a credit/debit card.  Good luck and hopes that helped.

I AM 13 AND I LIKE THE ACCOUNT I HAVE. THE CARD IS PREPAID AND ALL BUT THE FEES ARE RIDICULOUS.

A FEW DAYS AGO I GOT THE CHASE HIGH SCHOOL CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THOSE 13-17. IT IS LINKED TO A PARENTS ACCOUNT. MY PACKAGE COMES WITH A VISA CHECK CARD. THERE ARE NO SERVICE FEES. ALL THE RULES APPLY WITH THIS ACCOUNT EXCEPT IF YOU OVERDRAFT IT IS TAKEN FROM YOUR PARENTS. SO BE CAREFUL. IT CONVERTS TO A FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT WHEN YOU TURN 19.
