Is this trying to be smart and flash or is it normal?

I have just recieved an email from someone and it says

"sent from my BlackBerry Wireless Handheld."

Do all Blackberries do this?

  2. Yep, I think someone's trying a bit too hard to show off. I personally think that its annoying to have stuff like that.

    Whenever I send an email from my iPhone it writes automatically,

    "Sent from my iPhone."

    Its free advertising for them but annoying for us users.

  7. Yes they are set up like that on default but you can take it off but let's face it most people don't bother fiddling with their settings so I doubt the person thought about it.

  8. yes its a pre setting, people can either leave it as that or put in their email address, like on here you can chose what ppl see.

    So the teacher agreed that it would be OK.

    The teacher replied that it was out of the question that he be allowed time off school for such a trivial reason.

    To which little Johnny replied, "but that's not fair, you letting Winston have the day off to go blackberrying"

  13. The messages I receive via BlackBerry all carry this note at the end.  It's not something the sender controls, so they're not being smart or flash.
