  1. HELLO

ANYTHING OTHER THAN AS PRINTED ON LOG BOOK IS ILLEGAL

NO ADDING,DELETING OR MOVING SPACES ALLOWED

I AM SURPRISEDHE WAS ABLE TO GET THEM MADE AS THESE DAYS YOU HAVE TO TAKE LOG BOOK WITH YOU

  2. illegal sorry

  3. Not legal, numbers must by law be set out as on MOT Certificate.

There is no X in the start of old style reg plates.

  4. It is technically illegal to move the letters - but very commonly done to spell peeps names etc.... as long as the letters/numbers on the plate are clearly readable you will be fine..... depends on the officers mood that day :)

Silly fonts etc are also illegal, as are coloured plates except on vintage cars where they are the original colours....

  5. not legal three points and a fine also if they find out who made them they will be fined to by law the number plate has to have the makers registration number in small letters on the bottom of the plate

  6. it definitely illegal and will not get a pass at an m ot station

  7. That's very naughty and can get you fined. Why not just get a private plate? There are lots out there and they are sometimes as cheap as chips.

  8. So I'm guessing it used to be similar to this:

    X80 TTY

and now it looks like this:

X  80TTY, so it reads "BOTTY" (although I'm sure your's spells something better than that - that was just an example!)

Yeah, unfortunately it is illegal but the coppers do VERY little about it - unless your driving like a bellend with music blaring out and you have 5 17 year olds all in baseball caps - you shouldn't get pulled over!

They might pull you if their ANPR system cannot read it, although if it's just moved a little they should still be OK.

Regarding the comments on people making them getting done by the police - it's NOT illegal to MAKE these plates - as their disclamer probably states, they are JUST FOR SHOW PURPOSES, that's why you can get 3D letters, italics etc etc. you just can't legally use them on the road

    hope this helps :)
