  1. well even though you might be thin or think that just because the numbers aren't big on the scale that doesn't mean that the food your eating is good for you. when you eat those foods it puts layers and layers of fat around your heart. you can still have those foods but in moderation then work out as much as you want. steak and stirfry are high in calories, good, and you can keep your weight.

  2. High calorie foods are fine if you're athletic and burn the calories you eat.  You primarily just want to avoid eating a lot of saturated fats and cholesterol since they can be bad for your heart.

  3. I'm a competitive triathlete and cyclist and have similar problems with keeping muscle mass, while also staying lean. Typically I allow myself one huge recovery meal of whatever I'm craving immediately after my daily 2-3 hour workout. It's generally around 1200-1400 calories. Besides this meal, I make sure to avoid fatty stuff for the rest of the day. A good way to get your fats replenished, but also get more protein and fatty acids is to load up on salmon and other types of fish. They will help to give you essential fats that your body needs, without adding unnecessary bodyfat.

A good high calorie, low fat choice is multigrain breads, which contain protein, fiber and minerals as well as 200-250 calories per slice. You can also eat a lot of rice and pasta-based dishes if you need lots of calories and energy stock. I find that combinations like this not only keep my weight up, but also help me to feel more energized when I'm not working out. Depending on the intensity of your training, 3 hours of exercise can burn as much as 3500 calories, which needs to be replaced, plus the fluids you lose and then the 2500-3000 calories you burn per day while at rest. It differs for each person, but I know for myself if I take in less than 5000 a day, I'm losing weight. If you make some better choices while avoiding simple sugars and fatty snacks, you'll probably see faster results than you are currently. Hope this helps!

  4. Well, if you were not a Mixed martial artist, you would be one fat mother f*cker. but, you do need to be big and strong, and you do need alot of foood. Plus, you work out frickin 3 hours a day! so you should be fine

  5. If you're not gaining weight then calories aren't a problem for you.  The pizza and cookies don't sound healthy, but you'd have to read the label to know for sure.  In general, stay away from processed foods, look for 100% whole wheat breads and cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables and lean protein like chicken or fish.

  6. If u arent gaining weight then u have a great diet coming along there. Just the cookies and pizza arent really healthy. A quick way to lose weight is just eat no sugar, no fat, no sodium, and hardly any carbs.

And to do that just eat fruits and veggies, water/milk, and exercise and be active for a week and u will lose all the way up to 20 lbs. in ONE WEEK!!. it depends on you.

  7. Healthy high calorie foods with nutrients include Peanut Butter (good fats, protein and good carbs), nuts of any kind, fish (especially salmon-protein and more good fats as well as Vitamin D and Calcium), Orange Juice (vitamin C and Protein, micro-nutrients like more vitamins), Whole grain bread (fiber, etc).

Any whole plant food will help you out. Cut out the frozen pizza as frozen pizza's are usually loaded with bad fats (saturated and/or trans) as well as salt- not good for you in any case. However, you seem to be burning enough calories where you don't need to worry about the amount of food.
