Is this unhealthy???

for breakfast, almost everyday (has been for a while)

ill have 3/4 cup of oatmeal, with a little skim milk splashed on top with some sweetner in there.. (no cal sweetner) and a fruit...

i mean i just heard that oatmeal is meant for GAINING weight

and i know the whole no cal sweetner isnt great but i cant have the sugars.

so is this going to make me gain weight?

its around 240 cal in just the oatmeal...

please help!

  1. I don't think it is bad. I think you should try to find a lower calorie oatmeal. There are definitely healthier ones out there. I heard that it is better to eat more calories in the morning, because you will burn all of them off anyway. It will also help you stay fuller thorough the morning.  


  2. No! that is not unhealthy at all! and oatmeal is supposed to lower cholestoral so that means that you have good cholestoral

  4. no that is a good diet. oats are meant to help lower your cholesterol...

    the sweetener is fine. it make it taste better.

    if it bothers you, do half an hour of exercise, like running or something and that will easisly lose thso calories.

    Oatmeal is one of the most power-ful diet foods.

    And is full of fibre!

    Don't know where you heard this from.

    Only if you have alot of creams, and cinnimens and etc.. in you're oatmeal then.. it would'nt be as healthy.

    But you're breakfast sounds very healthy. I would get away from the sweetner thoe, you don't need it.
