i found this website about how you could audition to be on Hannah Montana or Camp Rock 2!

i am 13 years old (my birthday was yesterday) and i have absolutely no experience! i have always wanted to be famous and act though, and i think it would be awsome to be on Hannah Montana.

I live in New York, and the auditions are in hollywood! i dont think my parents would let me considering you have to have a professional picture taken. am i just dreaming thinking that i could do this, since i have no experience? 10 points to best answer

  1. The likelihood that someone with no experience could walk into a Hannah/Camp Rock audition and get a position over the 5,000 experienced peopl audtioning is very unlikely. Unless you happen to be an exceptional singer and/or dancer.  (Both auditions are for singing/dancing - not acting - positions).

If you are serious about acting, you need to get some experience. Check with your school's drama department. Take a class in drama/acting. Check the local papers and Internet for community theaters in your area having auditions, and try out.  If you don't get a part, volunteer to work backstage where you can watch and learn.  They will get you in with the producers and directors and increase your shot at future roles. (Many of my best actors have started out as stage hands and prduction crew)

Plus you learn more that just "acting".  You can learn how to direct, produce, do lighting, sound, makeup customes, stage managing, props, and much more that will increase your value as an "actor".

Most community theaters will want photos of their actors for playbills, bulletin boards, etc., and often bring in professional photographers who will provide free head shots, etc.  (My daughter is a photographer and amatuer thespian who is always doing free shots for local theaters).  Then you will have professional shots for when you are ready for the "big time".

  2. It's certainly a stretch, yes.  But it's definitely not impossible.  Just because you've never taken acting or singing classes together, doesn't mean you can't make it.  But others will definitely have the advantage over you.

If you're really serious about this, maybe look up some books or videos on acting/dancing/singing.  And ask your friends and family to honestly give their advice and critique.

    Good luck!

  3. If your parents won't allow you to take professional pictures then how can you even attempt it.  You need to express your desires to your parents and see what they say

Especially if you have the talent.  If not don't bother.

  4. very.
