Question:

Is this unreasonable?

I want to try out for for an NFL cheerleading team but I live 2 hours away from their practice facility. They have practices pretty much every weeknight and they have games every weekend. I am just wondering if you think it is unreasonable to drive that far every day to get to practice if I were to make the team. I am about to get myself a vehicle (probably a used Toyota) and I also have to consider the wear and tear on that vehicle and the price to put gas in it. Also, practice would end at about 10 pm and I would be on the highway late at night by myself. But I have wanted to be an NFL cheerleader for a really long time. So I want your opinions. Is that reasonable or is that too far to drive everyday?

  1. Are you willing to move closer to the facility?  If not, then you don't want this badly enough to justify commuting that much.  It's good to chase your dreams, but don't kill yourself in the process.

  2. the pay sucks! if you want to drive 4 hours 3 times a week go for it.

  3. 4 hours on the road every day? I don't think so sweetheart.

Maybe you could find a place half way between? Or get someone to drive you. Or if you're that set on it find a way to move up there. You're not trying out for the Bucs are you?

  4. IF YOU MAKE IT YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THE h**l YOU WANT. YOU'LL BE A CHEERLEADER! CALL ME, I'LL DRIVE YOU.

  5. If you're good enough...go for it.

If you make the squad you can move closer or share a room.

  6. Do you want to do it or not? Do you already have a full time job? And do you think you would be in shape to drive home afterward?

  7. Two hours away is four hours driving EVERY DAY!, and you'll be pretty tired after practice, so why not move if it's THAT important?

Otherwise, you will get danged tired of that commute.
