Question:

Is this vegetable and chicken actually nutririous?

My son is 2 1/2 years old and he doesn't eat vegetables at all so i make chicken soup with carrots, celery, broccoli and a little bit of tomato and when is done i blend all the vegetables and drop it back into the pot , but i dont know if this is still good for him or not.HELPPPP!!!!!

  1. It is totally fine! He is getting his veggies so it is alright.  


  2. It's fine! You didn't lose any nutrients when you blended the veggies. Chicken is very good for you too.

  3. well,  since with soups the veggies are boiled to the point where the minerals, vitamins are almost extinct.. no.

    steam them instead serving the chicken diced with the veggies onto a bed of lettuce and make him eat it or no dessert.

  4. He will learn to love vegetables as he matures.  That happens to most kids.  They won't eat certain foods.  Our tastes change as we mature so I wouldn't worry just keep doing what you're doing.

  5. Good for you Mum, you are on to it.

    Puree all his meals and get him used to different flavours.

    Gradually serve something whole, but chopped.

    I am sure it will just be a temporary thing, especially when he sees his friends eating "grown-up" food.
