Why are we still fighting? What are we doing there in Iraq and Afghan?

Bin Laden isn't over there. So let stop this war and bring our troops back home...

afghan we are there because we have to stop the taliban from resuming control because of their strain of religious destruction and control and all the nastiness there after.r We strive to give the normal afghan native the rights and laws that you assume as every day rights and laws, so they can live from day to day without their children starving, dying of thirst or infection as you expect as a norm living in your comfortable house in a conferable little life

Why bother if you can't sit back and read something other than the liberal media trash then you'd understand a few basics....

1. We leave Iraq - Iran will move in and take it over thus controlling about one third or more of the worlds oil supply and having a larger base to launch attacks against the US and it's allies.

2. Leaving Afghanistan after we made a commitment to the people there would just be inviting the Taliban and other terrorist organizations to come in and take over the country having another place to launch their attacks on our country and the world...

Lets not forget how the dictators and terrorists of these areas have oppressed the people denying them basic freedoms that liberals like those here take for granted.  

Whether we should have gone to war with Iraq is irrelevant - we are there now and need to finish the job. Or should we just expect our troops to tuck their tails between their legs and run??

Bin-Laden is a symptom of the problem not the problem. We need to get him to show other sponsors of terrorism that we won't tolerate it and we will hunt them down like the criminals they are (just like the liberals)

First there's no draft so men and women in the military joined knowing and wanting to go. Second, we are in Afghanistan because they attacked us and we're destroying Al-Queda plus making sure the Taliban doesn't come back into power. Third, in Iraq we are taking away a place for terrorist to run to, liberating tortured people, bringing democracy to the middle east, and strengthening their military/police to keep them from being attacked. I hate people like you, you here "the wars bad," or "the wars pointless" on tv and don't even check your facts about whats really happening.

Sure, we pull out now those terrorists think its a victory and they will keep blowing up buildings and the next thing you know it. BOOM There goes the Statue of Liberty. And Bin Laden is over there, come on now the U.S. Government isn't that stupid.
