Is this way for a baby's name better?

I really love the name Bella and I was wondering if the name would look better as Isabella and just Bella for short, or have the name just simply be Bella?

I think you should use Isabella. That way, she can be called 'Bella' as a nickname, but when she's an adult, she can use the more formal version if she likes.

i love them name Bella and to me the nickname Bell is sooo cute!!! Sounds so lyrical and sweet (kinda reminds me of fairies lol). Isabella is pretty to but i know heaps of little girls with that name. I also love May for a middle name with Bella...... Bella May. Anyway that's my opinion and that's what you wanted.

My Pagan name is BellaLuna (BellaLuna1 on line) You should consider your religion, and the faith you will be raising your child with. If you are Christian, please let me gently urge you away from Bella. It is a commonly used Pagan name (and Italian for beautiful by the way)  and could cause you and your child unnecessary confusion in the future. If you happen to be Pagan ( and or Italian) I would like to encourage you to put Bella on your child's birth certificate. Also, dreams can tell you a great deal. Both of my children came to me in  dream while I was pregnant  and told me their names. (Josephine and Nicholas)

I always prefer to use the longer/full version of a name... and use the short and sweet form as a nickname - This way the adult will have options on what s/he wants to be called

I'm Suzanna/Suzy

Hubby is Michael/Mike

our kids are Matthew & Nathaniel/Nathan (right now we don't shorten Matthew at all, but he has the option to use Matt when he gets older!)

I too love the name Bella, I think it is fine to just simply use Bella.  But if you want to give her a longer name, use Isabella or Annabella or something, that was she has other nickname options if she hates Bella such as Izzy or Anna or could use her full name if she wanted to.  But personally - I loooooove Bella alone :)

If you really love the name Bella, then just stick to plain Bella.

If you choose Isabella, your daughter might get the nickname Isa (I have a friend called Isabella but Isa for short).  Alternatively, she might like Isa herself and use that to introduce herself....

Isabella is a very pretty name and i adore it but if you want something unique then go for Bella i really never here that name and it is really cute too. you could name her Isabella and her nickname be Bella. i love both names its up to you though what you want to name your child
