Is this weather we are getting now down to global warming??

Some scientists disagree that global warming is caused by our emissions!

Michael Crichton wrote a book called  State of Fear  and it's very good. puts all the points across. i personally believe our planet is just doing what she does. going in cycles and balancing herself out. we haven't kept records for long enough to really know how the planet has changed weather wise. and im not talking ice ages here just every day weather.

that doesn't mean we shouldn't take care of this beautiful world though.

Weather is chaotic.  Look up any given dates record highs and lows, they are spread all over the place, look at hurricanes, typhons, any weather phenomena, ever year provides different results.  The weather truely is chaos, just look at how often the weather man is wrong, even with sattilite imaging and dopplar radar.

One can not put a single event down to global warming, their have been freak weather events in the past.

However, in the past freak weather was just that. Something very unusual that didn't happen very often. Now nearly every summer is the hottest ever, nearly every year is the "most something" we have ever had. Weather that used to be happen every few decades is happening almost all the time. Something is changing, and there seems to be only one plausible candidate; the billions and billions of tons of greenhouse gases pumped out by the billions of cars, millions of planes and inefficient factories. Appearances can be deceptive, co2 doesn't actually disappear into thin air, and, like one small cigarette that fills a whole room with smoke, just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it isn't having an effect.

We have been getting some d**n freakish weather that is costing hundreds/thousands of ppls lives.  

It's actually good that some scientist disagree.  Because there has to be some ppl looking for other answers just incase that the majority is wrong, or there are other factors contributing that we're not aware of.

Yes, it is warming up. But it has nothing to do with your emissions. You can safely f**t away.

The planet goes through some mighty changes in it's history. This is just another one. We've had iceages and big melts in the past.

Adapt and adjust, should be the keywords.

Individual weather events are not the same as climate trends. The only way we will know if the weather we are experiencing now is the result of Global Warming is with time. We can look at the long term climate trends and compare them to previous trends. You are correct in that more adverse weather events are predicted as a result of Global Warming. So wait and see!

Hi, How are you?

Well, everyone has a different oppinion, but I think it is.  Why else would the weather have changed so much? Summer never used to be so cold and rainy.  It worries me sometimes.  But still, life goes on...
