Is this website illegal?

Apparently, you can download songs for your mp3 for free which is nice and everything... but I want to make sure it's not illegal! Can someone tell me?

it shouldn't be unless it has every song created on he website. if the song artist approves to letting people download their songs for free then it's ok.

I guess it depends.  You can't really be sure what type of rights the owner of the website has received.

You can download a program called Limewire which is a file sharing program to get music for free.  You can't get in trouble for using it since it is considered file sharing. You do not usually have to worry about viruses or anything due to the fact that limewire will inform you before downloading if there is any sort of problems with the file you are trying to download.
