Is this weird of me?

is it weird that in todays society the little girls who grow up too fast break my heart?

like dressing like s****s the first day of freshman year to get boys to notice them

or being in sixth grade and already doing a full face full of makeup?

it makes me want to scream at them that bikinis and mini skirts at the age of 12 do not make u look cute

or even 12-13 yr olds that shop at hollister make me sick

its just that im a very independent person and i want them to realize that when theyre older theyre going to want a childhood but realize they never had one becuase they grew up too fast and lived to impress others and not themselves.

i mean im 16 soo i guess i fall into the category of young women close to the categury of a girl but honestly is it wrong of me to want to scream obscenities at a 12 year old for looking like a s***k?

I am 27 years old, and it sickens me that anyone can strut around in mini skirts and tube tops.  Cover it up if your not at the beach.  It is ok to look s**y without your junk hanging out all over the place.  And all the twelve year old girls out there, especially the one who wrote the previous comment about all the girls at her school having s*x, You don't have to grow up so fast.  Enjoy being twelve.  Don't have s*x, or you will be one of those pregnant 16 year olds.  It isn't that we don't understand the younger kids, it is that we understand too well how much trouble you can get yourself in by how you dress.  What do you think some 18 year old boy will think when you lie and tell them you are older, and by your S****y clothes they buy it?  You will be another teen statistic, pregnant, dropping school to raise your children and struggling for the rest of your life.  Good luck to all of you little girls, who don't know when to quit.

Im 12 and I most girls in my school have already had s*x. Thats just how it is. Im more of a punkish prep so I dont dress up with skirts and wear eyeliner. But I think that its stupid of you to act like your 30 when your only 4 years older than us. You dont know anything about the younger society today so you should realize that just because we want to dress up and get a boys attention. Its really no different than a 16 year old being pregnant now is it? I see all the comments about mine and I guess I understand. Because honestly im as shocked as all of you are. I dont try to act older than I really am but I am responible and my friend and I think that people who are 16 think that everything we do is immature. Im just sticking up for our generation because we change so quickly. One day everyone likes hollister and the next everyones obsessed with the next cool thing. Its no lie that everyone acts and dresses from what they see. We all do it. Just because Im not a prep doesnt mean Im not dressing punkish because I see women rock stars do it. Us "12 year olds" want to grow up, but the people i hang with and myself dont care, so before we all get too wrapped up in how we're only doing this for guys. Why dont all you older ones look at yourselves. The whole 16 year old population are s***s and your only being a hyprocrit saying how much you hate it. Your all the source of it.  [not trying to be harsh]

Cussing out a twelve year old may be adding to it, but other than that I agree. What, dare I ask, was so worng in the nineties when girls wore jeans or long skirts, everyone wore old navy tech vests...

No, I don't think it's weird at least...because I feel the same way about it.

The rest of society may find us odd in thinking that but that's why we have to stick together! : )

i am 16 also and feel exactly the same way, i am also a counsler for fourth grade girls at a day camp for kids and it makes me soo mad! you wont beleive how they talk, atleast three times a day ill here "i shop at abercrombie and hollister do you?" or "i only shop theyre.." etc etc. i hate it.e specially the parets that let theyre children dress that way when they are that young. even the abercrombie kids store is a bit innapropriate. it sickens me in a way that there is so much pressure to look good, but they dont honestly know what looking good is, all they see is older teenagers or commercials on tv.
