Is this what I need for an iPod?

I just want to double check because i'm buying this for a friend. I want to buy them the cable that you plug into your laptop to put songs onto your iPod, is this the thing i need to buy? Thanks:)

Yes, that's it, but you want to doublecheck it against the model of IPOD you're getting.  I have two, one for work, one for home, so that I don't have to carry it around.

Yes, but it comes with the iPod in the box.  Buy them a case or something.
