Is this what will happen when the earth hits the center of the milky way?

I read this from a web site.

when the earth hits the center of the milky way and the destruction occurs there will be heavy winds and floods and blizzards on the northern belts.

And can anyone give me info on the "Web Bot Progect"?

The History channel said everything it's said came true.

This would be incorrect.

The center of out galaxy is very far away and our planet (at least all life on it) would be extinct with a large shift within our solar system, let alone the center of the galaxy.

In terms of the Web Bot Project, as I understand it, it is a program that searches the web and locks in on key words to use that collective knowledge to make predictions.

I do not know much more about it than that, but I believe it has been accurate to date.  I just don't know if the predictions were specific enough to prove that.

That's not real.Sky and Telescope magazine says that it will only happen when the Milky Way and Andromeda collide in 3-5 billion years. The sun and the planets will be ejected out of the spiral arms and through the central bulge of our galaxy. However, the time it will take the earth to pass through the central bulge is way beyond the time when our sun will die. And since the weather will disappear when the sun blows up, no weather changes will be noticed :)

The Earth will never hit the center of the milky way.  We are locked in an orbit around our Sun, and our planet will remain here until our sun dies out.  As the sun begins to die, it will cool and swell eventually swallowing all of the inner planets.  The Earth suddenly flying out of orbit and heading towards the center of our galaxy is science fiction.
