Johnny Cash, John Wayne, COT, and more keep pouring out, is this getting crazy or are you going to buy them?

  1. it does seem a little strange to just pair them together and make a diecast, there nice lookin but im not buying any.

  2. Teresa lost her money maker last year to HMS, she's gotta make make money somehow.

Anyone else notice that right after last season ended, DEI came out with all kinds of Dale Sr memorabilia?

    Coincidence? I think not.

  3. I'll probably sound a bit cruel, but the name Dale Sr. is a cash cow, and NASCAR's milking it for all it's worth.

  4. Theresa's gotta fund DEI somehow.

  5. I'm like everyone else I've got a few of my faves and that's all I need! So I won't be buying any either!

  6. I agree it is getting way outta hand. No I don't buy the novelty diecast. Mainly I buy one car per year....and it's the regular paint scheme the #43 plans to use for the majority of the season. Back in the 90's when I was more into diecast collecting....I collected Earnhardt....but only his primary scheme....nothing specialized or limited. I refuse to shell out my hard earned cash to a collectible company trying to squeeze every dollar they can while they can. Just not going to do it.

  7. It's all about the mighty $$$

No, I'm not buying them. I have a few of my favorite Sr. die-casts, that's enough.

  8. Yeah Tom I'm afraid to say so but yes, its getting out of hand, I have nothing against Dale Sr as I wish they would let him rest in peace. All theses different kinda die cast coming out one after the other is getting ridiculous. Let the man rest in peace and let us remember what kinda great Nascar driver he really was.For heavens sake

people let him and his family RIP!.

ADD: I agree with Winter Glory and think that the most of it is $$$$$$$ Driven.

  9. Yeah, but I mean what are you gonna do when you have a bunch of rednecks with three teeth between em who thinks they can somehow bring the #3 driver back to life if they throw enough beer and buy enough junk

  10. It's funny that the same people who praise Teresa as a wonderful business person find her business action repulsive yet don't even mention her name (excluding wedge).

Teresa is after the almighty dollar in this deal, not Nascar, the collectable companies or Dales family. Teresa Earnhardt approves every item having Dale's name on it before it can be made and sold. This campaign was designed by her. She even has Taylor involved in it. Put the blame where it belongs or you are just talking heads selling the same lines every day without thinking.

If Dale Jr died that day would Dale Earnhardt let her sell this kind of stuff now?  Maybe a Dale Jr/Britney Spears car? I think not.

The talking heads are welcome to give the thumbs down even before thinking or reading the whole post.

  11. The same people buying this stuff probably complain they can't afford cable TV to watch races.

It's only out of hand if you're buying that junk.

  12. No.   I have a few very choice NASCAR items that I treasure but I am not a collector and it doesn't interest me to collect just for the sake of collecting.

  13. I have all the ones I want that were bought in the 90's and 2 from 2001. They are all packed away and are very special to me. Yeah, I would say it's getting way out of hand. Sad to say, but why try to make more money off of someone who has passed. That's just plain wrong. JMO   =o`)

  14. That is how Ms. Teressa makes her money right now. I have not bought anything of his since the tribute car. I use to think it was cool when all the drivers ran the cool paint schemes at Lowes for the All Star race and I have all of Dales but no one seems to do that anymore.
