He's on the cover of the new Madden...

Bonus Question:

Does that mean that after all this media c**p about him and his stupid ego is he just gonna get hurt?

  1. No, it has everything to do with Favre being shown the door by the Packers.  It is a very messy situation, but it has nothing to do with selling video games.  Any revenue generated by the sale of video games would be fairly small compared to the $29Million he is owed by the Packers over the next 3 years if he plays instead of quits.

  2. No-  he doesn't get paid extra if the game sells more.  That is not how the industry works.  My husband makes video games and to get a commission does not happen with hardly anybody.  Video game companies keep all of their profits and don't share.

No- he isn't going to get hurt badly either.  He has always been one of the healthiest quarterbacks around.  The guy plays injured all the time.  You might not like him, but everyone knows that he is tough.

  3. you know, i believe all of this is somehow related with him being on the cover.

  4. Video games, riding lawn mowers, T-Mobile phones, Wrangler jeans...

You DO have to wonder if there are kickers in his endorsement deals that reward visibility and extended play in the NFL...

BQ: He won't get hurt.  You can argue that Vince Young broke the Madden Curse.  He played  most of that season, and statistically didn't drop off from the previous season.

  5. I believe in the curse....so we will see.....

  6. If everyone hates him, won't that mean they will sell less games

  7. Maybe the curse is the cause of the dumbness. Instead injuring single players the game is targeting entire organizations now. If Favre weren't on the cover maybe the game wouldn't have controlled his mind forcing him back.

  8. i think this proves the curse straight up. He's on the cover, the season hasn't even started and everything is going to h**l for Brett. Its not a ploy to sell the Video game, but I am convinced in the curse now

  9. I would believe that if it weren't for the fact that the guy has publicly contemplated retirement for the past five years. The guy just has trouble hanging the cleats up, and I can't blame him. But, the curse thing....yeah, he's screwed.
