  1. YAHOO QUESTIONS IS WEAR U ASK QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED. NOT A SITE THAT YOU CAN POST COMMENTS ON. AND NO IT IS NOT LIBERAL.OUR EARTH IS DYING CAUSE OF US LAZY AMERICANS. I SUGGEST YOU DROP THAT CHILDISH ATTITUDE AND START HELPING THE ENVIREOMENT!

  2. well thats terrible and you shouldn't go around publicizing that...the enviorment gives you a place to live and gives you shelter and most things we use comes from the enviorment...and you don't care about the enviorment? ..it would take like 10 minutes out of your life to recycle...not just for the good of the enviorment but everyone who lives here...by not recycling it just hurting people just as much as its hurting the enviormnt.

    well thats just selfish.

  3. I would say that to the extent that you rely on complex technology, you are giving up control over your own life to strangers.  Liberalism involves letting other people run your life, so no, i wouldn't say it was liberal.  Survivalists aren't liberals, but they're very green in a way.  If a man living in the woods, shooting all his own food and opposed to gun control because he doesn't trust the government is a liberal then green politics is liberal, but i don't think you'd really think he was.  It's libertarian, not liberal.  There's a world of difference.

  4. Most of it is a scam to get more money out of people and control them ?

  5. I don't think that taking responsibility for your actions is "sissy". I actually think it is the more difficult course.  The everyday items that we consume do take a toll on the environment.  The human race survives not by adapting to the environment, but by using our big brains and our opposable thumbs to adapt the environment to our liking.  We have done this for millennia, but our technological advances in the last century have far more power and impact than at anytime in the past.  We now have the knowledge that burning fossil fuels and mining the earth negatively impact the environment. We should use that knowledge to improve our technologies and to inform our decisions about what and how much to consume and to "reduce, reuse, and recycle" when we can.  If everyone did a little more and some do alot more it would add up.

Since we can not quickly adapt to our changing environment, we had better adapt what we are *doing* to our environment.

  6. No, it isnt another sissy liberal fad. Its a way to make the Earth more efficient in its uses of resources so that we are able to survive longer. Keep using your smoggy truck, and dont recycle; but when your health goes down the drain, dont look back and say "i wish i hadnt done that."

  7. Sissy Liberal Fad? Does that mean that real men love $5.00 a gallon gas and want to see the ragheads running America? After all, they already own the President.

I believe Dennis Leary summed up your position perfectly.
