sometimes i feel like all this stuff i see in the world is soo deceptive...

by world i dont mean the universe.

i mean OUR culture... our tv programs... our movies... our celebrities

our fashion... our art... human self expression.

When I had read the first line of your question I thought you were complaining about accumulating things.

All the references to information content makes me think that maybe you are complaining about how fast things are changing.

Ever since the early 1950's the information produced by human kind has come close to doubling every year.  Human brains have great capacity but they are finite.  By the mid 1800's we had reached the point where no human could comprehend the totality of human knowledge.  Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was probably the last person that might legitimately claim such an ability.  It is possible that we are reaching the point where humanity is not able to contain the totality of our knowledge.

there is a lot of deception out there  you have to learn how to see it for what it is  truth  lies  how important is it to give it a second glance  to seek out the truth  the celebrities and fashion  how important are they in your life  set your priorities  does the movie have a message  a lesson you can apply to your own life or is it just entertaining  where do all these things stand in the scheme of life  what importance do you put on it  like i said set your priorities
