WTF? Yeah, that guy is totally sick. I like how everything is someone else's fault. He promotes the idea that men are weak beyond imagination, completely incapable of taking personal responsibility for anything.

Judging from the links on the left he seems to think himself some kind of libertarian men's rights activist, but he's obviously more of a liability than a help. Fortunately, he is in the minority. It's sad that there is even one "person" like this.

Basically, I think what he is saying is that he resents females for expressing sexual power over males, by being attractive. It seems that he experiences this as a loss of personal power (and assumes all other men do as well), which justifies physically and sexually assaulting females. He also makes it explicit that rape is something that men use to keep women covered up. He believes that women enjoy being raped because he is incapable of empathy.

What's really ironic is one of the comments in which one of his supporters talk about personality disorders in women. The funny thing is that borderline personality disorder sufferers are almost entirely women who have been sexually abused in childhood (DSM IV). That comment uses the victim's suffering as a way to further degrade women. Some guys can't hurt women enough to make themselves feel ok. The funniest thing (if anything could be funny about this) is that Narcissistic Personalty Disorder more accurately describes precisely the woman envying kind of person "Bob" himself is.

If males were more willing to look critically at masculinity, perhaps then MRA's would find greater success. At least feminists question critically femininity, whereas many (not all) MRA's just want to go on thinking that everything about masculinity is a sacred cow.

This is the prime example of how any cause or ideology can always have its extremist. The same as what you’ll find with the fight for women’s rights, you’ll have with the fight for men’s rights. There are sicko’s in every group. And I’m so glad that everyone in this forum agrees that this man is really taking the cause of men’s rights, and twisting it to be what he wants it to be.

This young woman did nothing wrong to anyone, and did not deserve to die (especially not the way she did). Although I do agree that there is no need for child beauty pageants, because children are too young to understand the concept of beauty; this man really took his ideas to a whole different level. And I think that we all (less those who gave everyone thumbs down) are smart enough to know that he does not represent what the MRA stands for or believe in as a whole.

It’s ok to respect the views, thoughts and opinions of others; but not when it’s advocating the rape and murder of an innocent child or anyone for that matter. Bob is only telling his own truth (which is his own opinion) and not that of the men in which he claims to represent.

He is a piece of c**p, with severe mental issues, and is probably a rapist.

However, he IS functioning under the approval of several MRA groups. Many that I've come across post links to his blog, and support his deranged statements, at least tacitly, by supporting him. Some of the anti-feminists that post HERE frequent his web site and give their support.

It was even suggested by some that this guy that thinks JonBenet "had it comin'" should speak at the most recent "Men Go Their Own Way" conference.

There are some bad MRA's out there. I've given up on any ideology. Thank you for pointing out why ideologies are not favorable(in my opinion). There are plenty of feminist examples as well.... quite a few.

.... 'attempt' to just take each individual issue as it comes...
