Is this why the Congress has a 9% approval rating?

Only 21% of voters support federal help for those facing forclosure. The Senate is working on passing a bill that provides a 300 billion bailout for people facing forclosure. Who else (besides me) is pissed off about this. Those of us who live within our means and save our money get to help bail out people who overspend and get into debt.

  1. The govt got us in this mess when the Clinton administration mandated loan companies to give loans to low income people.  Now thaey are coming in to "fix" the mess?  I wish they would learn a lesson and leave the market place alone.  It does a much better job at fixing itself than they do.

    btw..............it annoys me too.

  2. That's how everything is. This is not Bill Clinton's fault. Our economy was great when he was running things. The worst he did was get a bj at his desk. Bush is the one who did this by getting us in the middle of war for no good reason.

  3. It is widely known that the government panders to the minorities (not talking about race here) on any issue.  One person spills coffee on themselves at McDonald's, now it's a law to protect the idiots who forget that coffee if hot.  There are countless of other examples to pull from but I wont.

  4. because Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are in charge

  5. People will try to blame the Dems, but they have a very slight majority and have been obstructed every time they try to stand up for the middle class

  6. Congress has a 9% approval rating because they sit around bickering and moaning with each other and nothing is getting done.  This goes for both sides.

  7. Absolutely!

  8. The congress has a 9% approval rating because 9% of our population are not paying attention.

  9. I dont like it either, but, i would like to have a couple senators from both parties who support this sit down and show me actual facts on why this would help the economy. They realy arent bailing out the people who messed up....they are using it to disguise that they are actually bailing out the banks who made the bad loans in the first place in my opinion.

  10. That's part of it, but I'd expect their entirely ineffectual nature combined with whining would have more to do with it.

  11. Socialism.  It's happening.  It'll be worse if Obama is elected.

I don't wish to elaborate apart from expressing my hottest displeasure.

  12. The low approval rating is because they do not represent the people.  But just watch us put the same people back in office over and over.  Dems and Reps are two cheeks on the same butt.
