Is this wierd or do u feel the same way?

Okay sometimes i like my period because it makes me feel so much like a women. Like I love to talk about it with my friends and i like hearing other people talk about it cuz it makes me feel like i'm in a womens circle. Even just getting tampons makes me feel so cool! I know i sound really dumb but does anyone else feel that way? Would anyone keep their period just b/c of that reason?

Thats great embrace your womanhood but me HECK NO..I hate it I can do without it probably wouldn't mind if I didnt have cramps and it only lasted for 24 hours instead of 7 days :(

Well I can't say that I would want to keep my period but I do sometimes feel the way you do. It does give me a feeling of womanliness. Before I ever had it, all my friends did and I felt like the baby out of the group. I do like talking to my friends about it and knowing that I'm part of that circle. I definitely know exactly how you feel and I do feel that same way. I don't like the pain though. lol. Go Women! haha.

in the beginning every girl feels that way. It's normal d.w about it. Every girl get's excited at first cuz they feel like there all grown up. But once you get cramps you'll do anything to get rid of them!

I see where you are getting at, I think it does feel special for the first couple of months, but then you'll start to get annoyed at it because it keeps you from doing some stuff, and you always have to watch it. But I did have my time of feeling like a woman hahaha

Well sometimes I'm proud of my period because I know I am growing and yeah its makes me feel like a woman. You don't sound dumb and I think its good that you feel very comfortable with it and happy.

Thats not weird. You are just excited about growing up and becoming a women. But I wouldn't keep my period.....if I could get rid of it I deffinatly would.....I hate it.

Uh, the only up side to having a period is that it makes me nicer and very willing to due basically anything anyone tells me to. Feeling the way you feel, no my b***s make me feel that way so it may just be you.

i feel this way tooooo... hahha

mostly because i got my period kind of late. Well, in my group of friends, i was the last to get it.. and they always joked with me by calling me a man... but anyway, yeah i felt great when i got my period.

and since it's still my second year of it, it's still irregular.. so whenever i actually get the period, i'm like, yay! haha.. it does make me feel more like a woman. i agree with you.. but i also don't really get bad cramps or anything.. i don't feel that horrible when i get it so it's fine for me. (for now..) i can understand why a lot of people would think that people who don't get theirs so early are lucky though.

Don't be so immature.

I think it is probably normal for you to feel like you are part of a sisterhood or the like because of something only females have. It's what your proud of and that's okay. Many women feel the same about their b*****s and such. I wouldn't worry about it.
