Is this wrong of me?

Ok...I'm the dorm RA in the nursing dorm at my school. As of right now, there's 3 of us living here and 5 open rooms left. (8 rooms total on our half of the dorm)

One more girl is moving in next week. Is it wrong of me to try talking her into moving into one of 3 specific rooms in order for privacy by all parties? If she moves into the room above me or the room above my neighbor...or if she moves across the hall under the one girl upstairs....there's going to be noise issues and privacy issues. There's no sound between walls, it's just between floors. If she moves into one of the 3 rooms I encouraged all lives would still have considerable privacy.

Now, here's the problem. She wants to move into the room above me. I've had people live up there before and it's ANNOYING. We could hear each other's every cough, f**t, burp, and sneeze. We could hear each other's tv's and radios, drawers opening and closing, and I could hear her walk across the floor ALL the time. Plus, any phone conversations either of us have will be heard by the other.

So, is it wrong of me to try talking her into moving into one of the 3 rooms that would give everyone privacy??

I hope this all made sense. LoL.

  1. Just explain the noise and privacy thing to her. I'm sure she would appreciate the heads up before picking a room
