  1. I really like AJ so I sure hope not. I even hope they extend him beyond 2010.

AJ may not be the most gifted catcher out there or the most popular, but night in and night out he plays hard and he plays to win.

Some people might think he's a dirty player, but that's because he's not on their team. AJ's the kind of player you love to boo when he's on another team, but love to cheer when he's on yours.

Ever since Fisk retired, the Sox haven't had a really good catcher. Sure, they have guys who were OK in some areas but mostly they were all a bunch of part-time, unexciting, mediocre bunch of hacks.

But, since AJ came on the scene, the Sox finally have a real catcher. Someone who takes no BS, and plays the game like a catcher should. AJ is a major reason why the Sox won in 2005 and why they are doing well this year.

  2. His current contract runs through 2010.

  3. lets hope not.

I wouldnt really see why though because toby hall definately isnt a full time catcher and everyone loves aj[unless u live anywhere besides the southside chicago]

    Aj is awesome
