Question:

Is this yeast infection?

I have lots of white vaginal discharge. They are odorless but A LOT; even though I change my underwear everyday I never feel comfortable and dry.

But there is absolutely no itching or burning, so do I get clotrimazole and use it? I have used it before by doctor recommendation.

I'm constantly facing this problem and its very annoying. I wear *nothing* but cotton underwear and I still feel uncomfortable wet most of the year!

Any help?

  1. I have the SAME problem!!  I went to the doctor and since there was no itching or burning she didn't think it was a yeast infection. Not sure what you should do about feeling uncomfortable.

  2. Eating alot of yogurt will help keep it at bay, but, only yogurt with active cultries, which is most yogurt, also making sure you dry well after each shower helps as well. Use the cream just to be safe, its better to be safe than sorry

  3. No, it's not a yeast infection. if you have a yeast infection the discharge would be yellowish and smells bad  with burning. Wear pantiliners so you feel clean and dry =]

  4. it doesnt sound like an infection, just that you produce too much discharge, i suggest wearing pantyliners, they might make you more comfortable

  5. I've had this same problem. A yeast infection usually itches or you can feel something going on like a very mild itchy/burn-ish feel.  I would  maybe douche first because it could be that you're flora and fauna isn't on the same keel. If you douche, it will re-align the natural balance of your reproductive "fluids" so-to-speak. Douching helped me personally, and it happens every once in a while that it comes back, but you should douche every 3-6 months to get things back in balance.
