  1. There are volcanoes in Iceland.  It sits on the Mid Ocean Rift and has frequent eruptions.

    I am guessing that you made an error when you first said Greenland, but here is the answer to that one as well.  There are no active volcanoes in Greenland. There may be older (greater than 10000 years) volcanoes or volcanic deposits.

One thing I want to tell you that the volcano is an opening in the earth crust through which the hot molten material comes on the surface and cools down....If you can send any photograph of that I can tell you more,but one thing always remember the volcano is an opening in earth crust and it will open from any site from the frojen mountain also.........ok
