  1. kind of, but i think it's called self alleyoop

  2. id think so... but maybe alle oops only when someone else throws you the ball and you dunk it?? but then again the ball is coming off the backbord like a pass and your dunking it so i would say yes it is

  3. I always thought if it doesn't touch the rim, it was called double touch... But Kobe didn't get called for that and it was one of the best dunks I've ever seen.

  4. Nah, that's really just called "off the backboard."  The alleyoop is one to another.

  5. no.... an allyoop is with two people one passes the ball near the rim and the one that recives the ball dunks it.

  6. If you dunk it then it isn't considered a alley-oop. I don't know why they don't call it an alley-oop but i know last year kobe bryant passed the ball off the backboard and dunked it kobe it and they didn't count it as a alley-oop. I know if someone else dunks it then it is a alley-oop. (duh)

  7. It's called BUMPING UP YOUR STATS! cough* cough* Ricky Davis cough* cough*
