  1. Tiger woods is an African American.

  2. Earl Woods, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and Vietnam War veteran, was of mixed African American (50 percent), Chinese (25 percent) and Native American (25 percent) ancestry. Kultida Woods (nee Punsawad), originally from Thailand, is of mixed Thai (50 percent), Chinese (25 percent), and Dutch (25 percent) ancestry. This makes Woods himself one-quarter Chinese, one quarter Thai, one quarter African American, one-eighth Native American, and one-eighth Dutch.[8] He refers to his ethnic make-up as “Cablinasian” (a portmanteau term he coined from Caucasian, Black, American-Indian, and Asian).

Tiger is of pretty mixed ethnicity and contrary to the other guy's answer Mr. Woods has been to Africa. He regularly plays in tournaments in the city of Dubai and is building a course there.

  3. His mother is Thai and his father is black -- and black is clearly the dominant gene.

  4. He's multiracial - meaning more than one race.

  5. he is cablasian[asian,black,amarican-indian,ca... he is multiracial.

    ps:thia is african-american

  6. He's both.  Plus Chinese plus Native Indian.

  7. Thai is - Afrcan-american, that is.

Tiger Woods is American.  He has never seen Africa.

  8. From Wikipedia: He refers to his ethnic make-up as “Cablinasian” (a portmanteau term he coined from Caucasian, Black, American-Indian, and Asian).

  9. He refers to his ethnic make-up as “Cablinasian” (a portmanteau term he coined from Caucasian, Black, American-Indian, and Asian).

  10. His mom is thai and his dad is african american

  11. Apparently Tiger is multicultural because he has several genetic roots.  However, I just thought that if you are one percent black, than you are black.  I guess he must not want to be identified as black or African american, which is indicative of his choice of an european wife.

  12. in my eyes, he is biracial because i am reminded of his african-american father and thai mother. but people have dug deeper into his parents racial makeup and brought in all the other stuff - chinese, native amer, and dutch, thus making him multiracial.

people have to stop referring to him as black, which pisses him off, because he isnt. he is the first biracial/multiracial man to win the masters tournament. or they say that he is the first minority to win the masters because all of the races that he is made of are minorities except the dutch.
