It seems that at one moment, its Tuesday afternoon, then all of a sudden its Friday night, then its back to work again. It seems like just yesterday I gave birth to my son, I blinked and now he's 5.5 months old. Is time really flying these days, or is that just what it feels like to get older and have more responsibilities?

  1. I suspect that we see time relative to our lifespans from birth to the present. Wait until you reach my age.

  2. Time seems to pass more quickly as you age, probably because a day becomes a decreasingly small fraction of your life so far. Having an infant also has an effect, both in terms of there not being enough hours in a day to get it all done and still get some sleep, and in making you aware of how quickly he is growing.

In addition, I think time is passing more quickly for everone now, due to the ever-increasing amount of communication we're subjected to

  3. yep.. thats the rub, more to do, more to fit in - less time  to do it in. Just enjoy every minute you can, especially with the little man.

  4. no idea. but i agree
