I agree.  It would be cool.  But in my humble opinion it's impossible, and it certainly won't be possible soon.

Why haven't we seen any time travellers from the future?

What would happen if you went back in time and killed your own grandfather?

Wouldn't it save a lot of R&D money to just go into the future and bring back the research work of scientists, so nobody has to do any work or conduct any experiments to get results.  

Nope, there are too many absurd results.  This pisses me off.  I've made a few mistakes that I'd like to fix too.  Good question.
