In all seriousness, you really will have to learn English, as it is the official language of ICAO. For example, a German pilot flying in Germany, being controlled by a German controller, technically has to speak English.

In most cases its easier than driving, even though there is the whole altitude thing to deal with you aren't surrounded by complete idiots (there are some that fly but they are easy to recognize and stay away from, most of the time).  However, sometimes it might be harder if you make the wrong decision...
