  1. No, that's not true.  However, it you mega dose on vitamin C, your baby may become dependent upon it and be low in C after birth.

  2. Too much of anything is not going to be good.  But specifically it will not make you miscarry.  On the contrary.  Vitamin C is GREAT for maintaining blood flow and strong placenta attachment.  But I would NOT take loads of it by itself.

Use your prenatal vitamin and eat super healthy.

  3. Not sure that I believe that, but I'm not a doctor!

I've done reading on Vitamin C and pregnancy, there have been studies that have said that Vitamin C (as in, like, 2000 or so milligrams) can be fine for pregnancy, may be even very good for pregnancy.

I looked in to Vit C because I was always getting sick. I would take quite a bit, but that was later on in my pregnancy. Maybe if you do early in your pregnancy it could cause a miscarriage?

Here is an article on Vitamin C...

  4. no to much  vitamin c will not make you miscarry.  when you have to much vitamin c it comes out in your waste mainly urine instead of being absorbed by your body.  it is like that with most vitamins and minerals however, some if you take to much can be very dangerous, Iron being a good example.

  5. i heard it can around the time of your missed period if you take a shitload of it. but nobody should ever try to do that because if you dont miscarry, the baby might have alot of defects.
