Do you feel that much of the money being spent on hockey in Canada would be better spent training Canadian Olympic athletes? Do you feel Canadians should pay taxes towards training athletes? A big part of being Canadian is loving hockey but Canada's performance so far in the Olympics proves that our athletes are not getting enough funding. However, I believe a portion of the millions being spent on hockey should be put towards funding for the Olympics rather than forcing people to pay taxes to help train athletes.

  1. I know for a fact it isnt spent on hygiene products in Quebec.

  2. First of all Vinland you are a moron.

Next no i dont think any money should be taken away from hockey development in this country.Olympic athletes are a limited number of people wheras hockey is for any kid that wants to play. Therefore it costs alot more money to train an olympic athlete.

The biggest thing people don't seem to understand in this country is that fact that we are a small country. We have 30 some odd million people in Canada.China has a billion and the USA has a couple of hundred million.Obviously when you have more people you have more to choose from as far as athletes go as well as coaching staffs etc.

We sent 330 athletes to China.I would love to see the number the Americans  and Chinese have there.

Be proud of what our athletes have done so far.
