you know it was about last year that i discovered the truth...IT WAS MY MOM ALL ALONG....its all a lie..i even wrote a report on it..i got a high grade on it but i feel lke i got a low grade becuz i was lied to..by my own mother...boy was i dissappointed..we didnt talk forr days,..she couldnt jus give me the dam money up front rather then fooling me...how old does she think i am..really?!

come to think about it....shes always lying to me....hmmm watever...lol

No, the tooth fairy isn't real, it's an example of folklore mythology,

The Story  originated in Europe, where children used to bury their Baby teeth,It's commonly believed that the First "Tooth Fairy" was actually a mouse who later developed in to a fairy, when the mouse has to change into a fairy to help the Good queen, defeat the evil king by hiding under his pillow and tormenting him and knocking out his teeth..nice huh.

This later evolved from European tradition to American and Australian and United Kingdom, tradition was adapted into a more kid friendly version.

Edit* Oh Jasmine, Don't be too hard on your Mom, I know that growing up is hard, and finding out that the magical things that you once believed in are not real can be a really big let down... but try and remember all the great years and memories that your Mom gave you.  Parents don't "Lie" to their children to be cruel, life is hard.. and as parents we want to give our children as many years as we can of the magic and mystery that we can until they have to face the truth about the reality of what they will face. Go and give her a big Hug..and look at it as a new adventure and you'll always have the precious memories that she gave you, as you'll one day give to your children. cheer up

all fairys are real , in the immortal words of black sabbath they wear boots and youve got to believe it! , apart from that fact i saw one in the rubbish bin down the bottom of my garden i think it was probably a rubbish fairy!.         ps the spell checker says ive made 3 mistakes but im english and the american spellings came much much later!....................color....whats that about surely you mean colour.

The tooth fairy is just like Santa Claus.  There used to be a real person a long time ago (poor people would sell teeth for rich people to make dentures out of, but then again in those days they also stole death from dead people too).  Now it's usually just the parents of the child who leaves the money.
