Is transfat still used in fastfood?

I read that transfat was not going to be used anymore by wendys, burgerking, mcdonalds and some other food places by early 2008. is that true? how can i be so sure which food places still use it and which don't?

  1. There trying to eliminate it, but they can still pass for it if it's under0.5. Best thing to do, is not worry about it, and take omega-3 fish oil pills afterwards. These make the cholestrol in the body slippery, so it won't stick to the artieries. Works wonders for me, and I love fried foods. Now eat away and enjoy.


  2. Yes. Almost every fast food restaurant uses Trans Fat in their foods.

    however, there is a difference between no trans fat and zero trans fat. zero trans fat means that there can be up to 0.5 grams of trans fat per serving while no trans fat means its trans-fat free. be careful.

    also keep in mind, that regular small business restaurants and especially bakeries still use trans fat. the best thing you can do before you eat fast food is to read the nutrition info on the fast food chain's website.
