Is travel to Costa Rica in June reasonable? i.e. the rainy season?

I would really like to visit Costa Rica in June. This is the beginning of the summer "wet season". Would this be a mistake or can a good time be had? Thanks!!!

I went to Costa Rica in June of 2002 and it was beautiful there.  The only issue I had with the weather was on one of the tours to see a volcano it was too foggy to actually see the volcano.  I loved it there though.  I would also suggest checking out Turtle Island while there...it is beautiful!!

Not a mistake at all ! ! !

Hotel rates are lower, less tourists.

The rain is nice, it keeps it cooler & green.  You can pretty much know what time of day it will rain, usually for 1-2 hours  same time each day.  You just plan your day around that.
