I've planned to travel there & I am used to self-drive. What is the petrol price right now ? Anyone just came back driving from Brisbane ? The last I went there was 6 yrs ago.

  1. I filled up yesterday for $1.42 litre, todays price is showing $1.54, but the news is stating that it could soon drop to about $1.35 ?.

Petrol is cheaper in most areas on a Tuesday/Wednesday, but also sometimes on a Thursday morning.

In Carole Park at the moment it is $1.47

6 Years ago it was much cheaper !!

  2. Yes Like everywhere

But the sooner you go the cheaper it will be!  Like everywhere

  3. Traveling out of Australia is getting more expensive more like!

also, the rising costs of petrol is stopping everyone from traveling around, especially around Australia.

  4. Yes it is more expensive as the Australian Dollar is strong at the moment against most currencies excepting the Euro.  Petrol has a price range of between 1.60-1.70 a litre so if you're gonna hire a car, make it an economy model that has a good fuel consumption rate.

  5. Come on over its no more expensive here than anywhere else in the world and we have better weather and beaches
