  1. Trichomonas is a sexually transimmtted disease that is treatable with antibotics. It is important to tell your sexual partner that you have trich as they will also need to be treated. You and your partner should not have s*x until you have completed treatment as you could re-infect each other before treatment is done.

Yeast infections are also treatable with either oral medication or vaginal creams. Yeast naturally occurs in the body. Yeast infections are caused by an unbalanced which leads to an upset in the normal bacteria in the v****a. Usually yeast is kept under control by the healthy bacteria already in your v****a. These bacterias keep your v****a slightly acidic which prevents Candida from growing too much. The yeast doesn't usually cause any problems unless something happens to upset this balance. If the balance is upset the yeast can over grow and cause a yeast infection. Things that upset the balance are hormonal changes, medications (espically antibotics) certain medical conditions and a weakened immune system.
