there is an american guy there, and i suggested him to ask for help through the American Embassy in Ghana, he has no cash to buy his flight back ticket. Thank you for your inmediate response

do you know this guy? he might be a scam artist. they are really big in western africa.

The main airlines will take credit cards. But cash is always King - same as anywhere.

Just don't assume that everyone takes dollars, most people do, but not everyone.

That's a simple African scam. Please do not fall for it.

Beside that all Airlines take credit cards, please think. If so, why does he not go to the next ATM and get the cash for the ticket?

In case an American needs help to go back home, the American Embassy will help. This guy is no American, he is from Ghana waiting for an American fool to loose some money.
