Is true flies see in slow motion

my cousin told meh wen I was little that house flies see in slow motion thats how come they are faster than us. Is that true or was he just pullin one over on meh.

omfg i cant stand flies for the past 3 days there have been 5 d**n flies in my house driving me crazy i got 2 of them so far but i feel bad killing em but they keep going on the toilet bowl then sitting on tooth brushes and food grrr

No as far as I know that do not see in slow motion, but they are very sensitive to movements in the air, which is why fly swatters have holes in them and you have to act very quickly.
