How about the Cambrian?? was it after the Permian–Triassic extinction???

  1. The Permian-Triassic extinction is the largest one for which there is fossil evidence.  

    A pre-Cambrian extinction may have happened, but there are few fossils to substantiate it.  However, I think that more information may be coming in the future that might show such an extinction.

    The Cambrian preceded the Permian.
