Question:

Is tubing behind a SeaDoo as fun as tubing behind a boat?

I'm debating on buying a used 3 seater SeaDoo. I really want a boat, but just can't afford it, nor do I have the tow capacity for it right now, so a SeaDoo is sort of the next best thing. I've heard you can legally tow tubes and other toys with a 3 seater seadoo, but the all important question in my mind "Is it just as fun as being towed behind a boat"? Can you still swing them around like on a boat, and is it still a wild ride, since the seadoo doesn't make as big of a wake? And if so, what's the minimum engine size I'd want to look for in order to have 2 adults on the ski and one (or possibly even two if its possible) in the tube?

  1. yes it is still lots of fun but the diference is with a boat there are way more waves and with a seadoo when you turn really fast the tuber rips around the side but if you have maybe three kids in your family or whatever i might recommend a three seater tube behind a seadoo because that is alot of fun

  2. tubing behind a seadoo is fun but if you get a three seater you can only have one tuber because the amount of people on the jetski and the tube can only be 3 people all together and you have to have a spotter 12 or older to tell you if the tuber fell off so it can only be you the spotter and the tuber

  3. well if it's a 3 seater, i'd say yes and no.... yes it'll be loads of fun, but you still have to take into consideration you're not sitting behind a boat, therefore you will notice atleast a slight diffrence. but the 3 seater would have alot more power then a single seater jetski....

  4. it wont be as wild a ride but it will sure beat sittin on the dock watching everyone else have fun!
