  3. It is more Eurasian as it's borders stretch from Asia in the east to the mediterranean in the west but for strategic/political purposes it is allied to Europe

  7. Only the small bit to the west of the Bogazici. That's the stretch of water that divides Istanbul in half. Anything further east is in Asia.
