Is tutoring considered a leadership extra-curricular activity?

I independently tutor a student in college physics and organic chemistry.

I think so! When I was in high school I was with NHS and all those other groups, and I would definitely have counted tutoring as an extra-curricular. However, I'm not so sure about the leadership part.

A few questions to ponder do you get paid? How did you start the tutoring? Was it your idea or the other persons? Do you know anyone else that tutors?

It would be best if it were something like a program you started and you offer it free. If they pay you, I'd have to say it's more like a job.
