Is twilight a good book to read?

Ive seen a lot of people reading this book and i wonder if it is any good.

  1. No it is not. It may hold the attention of people who don't read much, since the language is fairly easy to understand, but if you are looking for a book with substance in it, then no. Whether people say 'OMG HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT EDDIE BOY IS SO HAWT AND HE IS ALSO REAL AND I'M GONNA MARRY HIM!' or not, it is a poorly written book with shallow, cliche characters and a nonexistent plot line.
      If you want a challenge or something good, read-
    1. The Lord of the Rings
    2. Les Miserables
    3. The Kite Runner
    4. The Colour Purple
    5. Train to Pakistan
    6. War and Peace

  3. OMG, i've read all of the books like 7 time and i've even sen the movies like maybe more than 800 times lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. You'll either like it or not, there is really nothing special about it. There are a lot of good books out there, book better than Twilight so the question is: are you looking for a good book to read or do you really want to know if Twilight is worth it?

    If you want a enjoyable read you could do a lot worse than Twilight, but you could also do a great deal better.
    Is Twilight good? That's all a matter of personal opinion. I can't say I enjoyed it but there's no reason to hate it, it's just the obsessed fans are what usually cause people to despise the series.

    It was written as a "Mary-sue" and the author didn't initially want it to be published to it's not written to the highest standards and it's rather two-dimensional.

    It's an incredibly easy read so if you really don't know then just try it, if you don't like the first book then just stop, it's that simple. If you don't like the first few chapters I would recommend putting it down because the entire book is pretty much the same.

    But, for the love of God, do not see the movies unless you are high or very drunk because there is no other was to tolerate them.

  6. well if you like a story with a controlling boyfriend like edward, and a main character that nearly keeps getting herself killed or can not make her own choices. Also the death of real vampire myths, purple prose,and stereotypes this book might be for you.

    PLEASE do not damage your precious brain cells by reading that terrible book. Twitards are blinded by their infatuation for Edward, so they cant really see how many flaws this book has.
    Plot= overused and obsessive
    Characters= Two dimensional and shallow
    Grammar= 8th grade
    Logic= nonexistent. Vampires sparkle? Seriously?

  10. the BEST book I have ever read. I'm just so obsessed about it. I even read it 'till midnight when everybody's asleep already. because its just so addicting. I promise you you won't ever regret having to buy that book. just make sure you finish the whole saga! :)

  13. yes its really good, all of them r awesome turns in to an obbession lol but the first movie really sucked compared to the book i heard new moon movie is gonna b awesome ...... twilight saga is amazing :D read it
