  1. The popular English nursery rhyme "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" was written by Jane Taylor. It is sung to the tune of the French melody "Ah! Bous dirai-je Maman!"

    It is thought that the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart originally composed the song, but in fact he wrote 12 variations of the French version for the piano. ^_^
