  1. Shekinah Love explained it as I might with the exception that I would let you know about Mansanto's responsibilities in the act of modifying genes in plants and animals.

  2. yeah!! it is a problem the fact is that food should able to be accessed by everyone, but that's not always the case and hording takes place then that leads to starvation.

  3. It certainly is for the people who don't have enough food.

  4. REASONS FOR FOOD SHORTAGE IS ALOT OF THE COUNTRIES ARE USEING FOOD FOR FUEL AND ITS DEPLEATING OUR RESERVES. SOON PEOPLE WILL DIE OF HUNGER. ONLY. YOU CAN THANK OPEC FOR THIS DELIMA TO RAISE FUEL PRICES BEYOND ONES MEANS FOR WHAT. THEY DONT NEED MONEY. ALSO OUR PRESIDENTS OF THE PAST HELPED OTHER COUNTRIES TO DO THIS TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. THE CAUSE IS   OPEC= OIL AND THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH G.W.

  5. YES, Its a HUGE problem! Its not that theres not enough food in the world to feed everyone....hunger is more of a social problem. Some places have adundance, where others lack, and the food isnt shared. So much food goes to waste every day! Think of how much food the average american eats, for instance...the food that gets thrown out in america every day alone could probably feed the rest of the world's population! But alas....were greedy. The worlds economic system makes the rich richer, and exploits the poor. Now that genetically modified seeds are being sold to farmers in latin america and africa that cannot reproduce on their own.....even their farming is no longer sustainable, because they buy the modified seeds/plants from american companies! (and of course the multitudes of harmful effects that occur from genetically modified plants/animals.

Poor countries that have other commodities in abundance are also exploited, like Namibia, where diamonds are harvested....people starve yet over in the US diamond sellers are making millions....its horrible!

So YES....unequal access to food around the world is a HUGE problem!

  6. yes. A lot of countries supply food for other countries for very little money and can't afford to eat. Access to water is a big problem too. Especiallly when people have to resort to drinking polluted water.

  7. no, cause I live in a country that has the environment and land to produce food.

Sam Kinison said it best, when he said "don't send these people another bite, send them luggage" (as in so they could move where the food is)

  8. It's really a question of letting others starve to death or being "thy brother's keeper".
